From Pyunik to Akron

A.K.A. Lex Sportiva is pleased to have provided legal support to FC Pyunik in connection with the international transfer of Karlen Hovhannisyan to FC Akron.
The transfer was announced on 1 September 2026, with the 21-year-old Armenian midfielder signing a contract with the Russian club.
A graduate of Pyunik’s academy, Hovhannisyan progressed through the club’s youth system to establish himself in its first team and earn selection for the Armenia national team. His move to Akron marks a new stage in his professional career.
